Q. If I purchase my hunting license in January, is it good for the entire year?
A. You should be careful about the use of the word "year". Some use the word to refer to a calendar year, January through December, while others use it to refer to a fiscal year, July 1 through June 30. The later spans two separate calendar periods. Hunting licenses are issued for a fiscal year. If you purchased your license in January, it will expire at the end of June of the same calendar year.
Q. How many doe licenses will be offered through the Treasurer's Office?
A. We do not, normally, learn the quantity of our allocation until sometime in late June of each year.
