{Double Occupancy Room} Pocopson Home has nine distinct air conditioned nursing units. Each unit offers private and shared accommodations. All rooms overlook many acres of quiet, beautiful rolling hills of Chester County.

Call bell system, privacy curtains, furniture, toiletry items, laundry and hair care services are provided by the Home. Each resident is encouraged to decorate their rooms with their own personal touch.

 

{Nice Single Room} Pocopson Home employs a wandering protection system on two nursing units with staff trained in providing care to the dementia resident whose needs and behavioral challenges are as unique to their diagnoses. This system allows the resident to maintain maximum mobility as well as maintaining his/her dignity. Emphasis is placed on supervised activities both on and off the units.

Our staff development department holds planned and unplanned fire drills on a monthly basis. Heat sensors, smoke detectors and sprinkler system are all part of an approved state of the art alarm system.
