The Chester County Office of Mental Health serves county residents who live with serious and persistent mental illness. With an annual budget of about $16,000,000 the Office uses federal, state, and county funds to provide services to approximately 5000 eligible individuals each year.  Clients typically are county residents who

The Office works closely with the county Medical Assistance/HealthChoices program to coordinate all publicly-funded behavioral health services and supports.  Many individuals with serious and persistent mental illness qualify for both Medical Assistance/HealthChoices supports and county-funded supports.  The Office of Mental Health contracts with local agencies throughout the county to provide services designed to help individuals with their mental health recovery.

Every Chester County citizen experiencing mental illness may access services and natural supports that foster recovery and integration into a greater community where they are valued and enjoy fulfilling lives.
