The Chester County Office of Mental Retardation serves about 2000 county residents with mental retardation each year.  With an annual budget of about $50,000,000 the Office uses federal, state, and some county funds to provide services and supports to individuals and their families.

 

The County provides Supports Coordination service at no charge for any Chester County resident with mental retardation who registers with the program.  The County subcontracts with local agencies to provide other services.  Services focus on the individual and his/her needs and desires to reach maximum potential.
