When things are not going right with the services you are getting, we want to make it easy for people to make a complaint and get an answer. When you have a problem with a service or a provider of service, people at the agency will listen to your concerns. They will talk with you and try to find a solution that works for everyone.
The Chester County Department of MH/MR has a policy and process for filing complaints about services funded by the department. Every provider who receives MH/MR funding has a way to let people know how to make a complaint so people can feel comfortable speaking up about concerns. If you are not satisfied with the services you are receiving, talk to your service provider first. If you do file a complaint with the provider and are not satisfied with their response, you may file a second level complaint with the County MH/MR department by calling 610-344-6265 or
1-800-692-1100 ext. 6265. For more information about solving problems and filing complaints, talk to your provider, case manager, support/service coordinator, or County MH/MR staff.
If you have medical assistance and you are not satisfied with therapy services you receive, Community Care (the managed care organization in Chester County) Member Services will assist you to file your complaint. Call 1-866-622-4228.
