{Restaurant Inspections}
Online posting of inspection reports is a service provided to inform you of the health and safety status of licensed food facilities in Chester County. These include restaurants, bars, grocery stores, convenience stores, school cafeterias and most facilities that dispense food to the public. The information available in these reports includes:
- name and address of the food facility
- date of inspection
- critical and non-critical violations found
- score for the inspection
A facility starts out with 100 points. Points are deducted for violations found; critical violations are 4 or 5 points and non-critical violations are 1 or 2 points.
Please remember that any inspection is a “snapshot” of the day and time of the inspection. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term sanitation and food safety status of an establishment.
This links below contain the most recent comprehensive inspection information for food facilities inspected since January 2009. Archive reports are also available for 2008. Follow-up inspections subsequent to the comprehensive inspection are not being posted at this time. Inspection information is updated monthly. If the inspection results are not shown during your search it could mean that the facility has not yet been inspected during this cycle.
The information posted on this site is believed to be accurate and reliable as of the time of posting. Should you find information which you believe to be in error, please contact us at 610 344-6689. For technical issues, please email cchd@chesco.org.
