Emergency Management Training

Quarterly Training

There are no training dates scheduled for 2009, as of today.

Municipal Elected / Appointed Official Emergency Management Training

Four courses are required by the Federal Government for National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance.  They are available online from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute (EMI) Independent Study Program (ISP) Website http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp.  These courses are also available in a traditional classroom format from the Chester County Department of Emergency Services, 610-344-5011.

1)  Any one of the ICS - 100 Level Courses:

There are several other ISP Courses available on the FEMA training page that are useful for Elected and Appointed Municipal Officials.
 
The Department of Emergency Services provides classroom style training on a variety of topics every quarter.  Topics, schedules and venues can be obtained by calling DES at 610-344-5011.
