Community Emergency Response Team (Cert)
Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD)
DESCRIPTION
Train citizens in basic disaster response skills; such as fire suppression, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), basic first aid, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and disaster psychology as to enable citizens to take a more active role in emergency preparedness.
COST
Free to Chester County residents and/or business employees in the county!
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
Free backpack full of disaster/safety supplies!
(e.g. OSHA-approved 25-person first aid kit, Ambu rescue mask)

Thursday classes:
-Start at 5:30 pm and end by 9:30 pm
-Hot dinner provided
Saturday classes:
-Start at 8:30 am and end by 4:00 pm
-Hot breakfast and deli-style lunch provided
