  Policy: It shall be the policy of the Chester County Department of Emergency Services (DES) to ensure that County-owned equipment issued to groups, agencies, departments, or municipalities is properly maintained and that the various groups, agencies, departments, or municipalities supported by DES are in compliance with Federal, State, Regional and County law, directives, policy and guidance.

 Reverse 9-1-1
  One of the many responsibilities of the Department of Emergency Services is to continually prepare for disasters, which may affect the citizens of Chester County. One of the tools for notifying large sections of the County is the Reverse 9-1-1 system. Reverse 9-1-1 is a computer based phone system that can make multiple calls and deliver a pre-recorded message to a specific area of the County.

  The Special Projects Division looks towards the future long-range challenges and opportunities for Emergency Services, and then develops strategies to prepare the department for the future. To achieve this goal the Division performs a variety of roles.
 Technical Main Page
  The Technical Division provides 24 hour around the clock coverage for systems support. The division has continued to provide daily activity reports for Police Departments, record management for CAD, inventory, paging and radio system and microwave on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
