COURTS
The Court of Common Pleas of Chester County is a general jurisdiction trial court located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. There are eleven full time judges and one senior judge. The judges hear a wide spectrum of cases, including adult and juvenile criminal prosecutions, lawsuits involving money or property, divorce, custody disputes, child support issues, adoptions, and estates. In addition to court staff and court administration, the court supervises Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation, Domestic Relations, Bail Agency, Court Reporters, and the Law Library. The Court oversees and provides administrative services to the seventeen district justice offices that comprise the District Justice system in Chester County.

As you exit the elevator area on each floor, you will see a courtroom directory on the opposite wall. 
Courtroom 1 - 7th Floor   President Judge Paula Francisco Ott
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 1 is at the end of the corridor.

Courtroom 2 - 7th Floor   Judge Thomas G. Gavin
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 2 is at the end of the corridor.

Courtroom 3 - 7th Floor   Judge Robert J. Shenkin
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 3 will be on your RIGHT.

Courtroom 4 - 7th Floor   Judge William P. Mahon
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 4 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 5 - 7th Floor   Judge Howard F. Riley, Jr.
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 5 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 6 - 7th Floor   Judge David F. Bortner
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 6 will be on your RIGHT.

Courtroom 7 - 7th Floor   Judge James P. MacElree, II
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Go to the end of the corridor and turn LEFT (at Courtroom 2). Courtroom 7 will be on your left.

Courtroom 8 - 7th Floor   Judge Ronald C. Nagle
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Go to the end of the corridor and turn RIGHT (at Courtroom 2). Courtroom 8 will be on your RIGHT.

Courtroom 10 - 6th Floor   Judge Charles B. Smith, Senior Judge
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 10 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 11 - 6th Floor   Judge Edward Griffith
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 11 will be on your RIGHT.

Courtroom 12 - 6th Floor   Judge Anthony A. Sarcione
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn RIGHT. Courtroom 12 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 14 - 6th Floor   Judge Phyllis Streitel
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 14 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 15 - 6th Floor   Judge John L. Hall
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 15 will be on your RIGHT.

Courtroom 16 - 6th Floor   Judge Katherine B.L. Platt
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 16 will be on your LEFT.

Courtroom 17 - 6th Floor   Judge Jacqueline Carroll Cody
Exit the elevator area into the main corridor, and then turn LEFT. Courtroom 17 will be on your RIGHT.
