Commissioner Kathi Cozzone

{Commissioner Kathi Cozzone} Commissioner Kathi Cozzone was sworn in as Member of the Board of County Commissioners on January 6th, 2008. Kathi is a member of the Chester County Economic Development Council, ExOfficio, a member of the Industrial Development Authority and serves on the Chester County Pension Board, the Salary Board and the Prison Board.

Kathi brings a versatile corporate financial management background to the highest office in Chester County government. With more than twenty years' experience, Kathi brings a seasoned accumulation of financial skills to the county management table.

Kathi Cozzone received a BS degree in Accounting from the College of New Jersey. Subsequently, Kathi has been employed in a succession of increasingly responsible financial management positions. She has managed large and complex budgets in several industries. Most recently, she was Corporate Business Manager at Rodale, Inc., a world-renowned publisher of books and magazines focusing on encouraging people to improve their lives, and the world around them. At Rodale, Kathi provided financial management to the Information Technology, Operations and Administrative departments for the entire corporation. In that capacity, she was responsible for annual budget preparation and multi-year strategic planning for both operating and capital expenditures.

Prior to joining Rodale, Kathi began her career as a Staff accountant, worked nine years in various business and financial management positions at Macmillan Publishing Company, was a Controller at a startup software company, and was Director of Treasury Operations in a managed services, e-commerce and networks systems business.

Kathi lives in Uwchlan Township with her husband, Victor, their 6-year-old son, Victor and their dog Roxy.
