Let Our Experience Work For You!

• SCORE is sponsored by the Chester County Board of Commissioners and the Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE serves as a FREE link between the experienced business person and the person who wants to start a small business or the small business owner who needs advice. The business counseling offered through SCORE is completely confidential and FREE of charge. The main purpose of the service is to help the individual achieve success and become a viable contributor to the economic growth of the community.
  
  

• SCORE is a volunteer group of retired and active business men and women who have (or have had) successful careers as executives and entrepreneurs. The volunteers offer FREE business counseling in which they share their knowledge and experience with anyone thinking of starting, expanding, or maintaining a small business.
  
  

• The SCORE counselors have various business backgrounds ranging from manufacturing to retail to services. Your particular area of interest can be matched to a counselor from any one of the over seventy fields of expertise. You are welcome to meet with one counselor several to best answer your specific questions. There is no limit to the number of counseling sessions available to all clients.
  
  

• Besides offering personal business counseling, SCORE sponsors seminars and workshops designed to cover the major considerations for starting and running a business. Our volunteers are available at these sponsored seminars to offer assistance and answer questions. You can find out where and when these seminars are held by calling the West Chester office of SCORE at (610) 344-6910.
  
  

• SCORE also provides resume critiquing services at the Chester County Library in Exton, Pa.
  
  

• Take advantage of the business advice and experience available to you. Contact the SCORE office at (610) 344-6910, Monday through Friday, 9a.m. to 3p.m. and an appointment will be arranged for you. For your convenience, evening hours are available.
