Mission Statement

To provide competent, effective and ethical legal representation to indigent persons accused of crimes.


Goals and Objectives

Goals:

  • To provide effective representation to indigent persons as mandated by the Constitutions of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (as implemented by statutes, rules, and court decisions).

  • The Office’s lawyers represent individuals faced with the following proceedings: criminal, summary offenses that may result in jail sentences, juvenile court hearings, probation and parole hearings, and some non-support and protection from abuse matters.

Primary objectives are:

  • To effectively represent a caseload of approximately 2,075 files per month.
  • To meet with new clients within 1 to 2 weeks of arrest.
