On December 1, 2005, the Chester County Parking Garage was open to County Employees and visitors to the Borough of West Chester.  Due to Justice Center construction, the garage could only be accessed through the rear entrance. The Market Street entrance opened in  early 2006, the garage can be accessed and exited via the rear alley entrance.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
{The First Floor Bus Depot will go into operation Feb. 2006}
 
 
 
 
 
The first floor bus depot went into operation in February of 2006.  Prior to that time, buses picked up riders at the curb in in front of the garage.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Ribbon Cutting
 
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on November 30, 2005 to declare the new West Chester Transportation Center open for business.

First Car In
 
Employee Jim Quill of DCIS, with 37 years of service, was given the honor of driving the first car into the garage.
