The 651 acre park sits atop an out-cropping of
serpentine stone greater then one square mile in size – one of the largest
serpentine barrens on the East Coast. A popular picnicking park, which offers nine pavilions, as well as informal picnic areas, play lots and rugged trails. Fishing is available in two ponds for bass and pan fish. Nottingham County Park is featured in the
