Workforce Investment Act Programs
 
 
The Chester County Department of Community Development (DCD) is the entity designated by the Chester County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) and the Chester County Board of {WIB Logo} Commissioners to act as the administrative entity and the fiscal agent for the operation of Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs in the Chester County Local Workforce Investment Area.

The Chester County WIB also receives funding through Title I of the Workforce Investment Act for youth and services.  Utilization of this funding is overseen by the Chester County Council for the Workforce of Tomorrow.  Click here to read more.
