All older adults (60 years & older) may receive an initial 1/2 hour legal consultation with an attorney for $10. Individuals and couples meeting income ($18,000-21,000) and asset ($50,00-60,000) requirements may receive further legal work at reduced legal fee rates at a maximum of $50 per hour. On the Second Wednesday of Each month from 9am to noon, a licensed practicing attorney is available for individual attention to a civil legal problem. The attorney will meet with people for 30 mins to provide consultation for topic including living wills, durable power of attorney for healthcare, consumer fraud, dept collection practices, bankruptcy, landlord/ tenet, social security benefits, public welfare benefits or any other civil legal questions.

The Pennsylvania SeniorLAW Helpline is a toll free, state wide, legal information, advice and referral service for Pennsylvania senior citizens (60 years and older).

 

This is a free and confidential telephone service, staffed by attorneys Monday – Friday from 10am to 4pm.

 

 

Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania operates a toll-free telephone intake, brief advice and referral system out of its Norristown Office. This system allows someone who is eligible for our services with a legal question or concern to get immediate assistance. The toll-free number is 1-877-429-5994  Monday – Thursday between 9am and 1 pm.
