How do you apply for the stimulus payment if you only receive Social Security and you do not have to file a tax form?
File Form 1040A
***The IRS will mail special information packages to recipients of Social Security or Veterans Affairs benefits to help them get their 2008 economic stimulus payment.
These packages contain everything the recipients will need to file a 2007 tax form.
The package is called Package 1040A-3 and you can access it on the IRS website at:
