The ADC would like to congratulate the Chester County Economic Development Council's Southeastern PA Agricultural Partnership group on the release of their new video "Growing Your Future in Agriculture." The 12 minute short video, aimed at middle school - age children, featuring three farm families and operations from Chester County, discusses the fact that agricultural careers are indeed a very viable option for students to consider even if they have not grown up on a farm. The famers interviewed, none of whom grew up on a farm, talk about running a farming operation and that it is as entrepreneurial as running any type of business and yet can offer the chance to be outside and work with nature and/or animals.
